EXPANSION JOINTS

GROUT LINES

Grout Lines are a deeper and thicker and are usually accented with your antiquing powder the same as your curb colors.

SEAMLESS JOINT LINES

Seamless Joint Lines are less obvious and are very narrow seams.  You do not use an antiquing powder in Seamless Joint Lines.  Regardless of whether you have Seamless or Grout Lines, You must have one or the other as these are your EXPANSION JOINTS and the concrete needs them to move with expansion with the temperatures.

ANTIQUING POWDER

Antiquing Powder is the dusting of the second, third, or 4th color that is brushed on the natural looking stones to give it that NATURAL look and undertones you are trying to achieve.  By all means you DO NOT have to go with an antiquing powder if you want just a straight curb color. However, if you want any type of texture or stamping done, an antiquing powder IS REQUIRED.

NATURAL STONE SAMPLES

Please take a look at the 4 different types of our Moroccan style curb.  Moroccan style curbing is made to look like like nature made it rather than coming from a machine.  Therefore, Moroccan curbing has many imperfections in order to achieve this look.
