TERMS and CONDITIONS

TERMS:

  1. Payment IN FULL is due immediately upon completion of work.

  2. Nonpayment of invoice will result in a lien against the installation property.

  3. Cancellations will be subject to a minimum 10% cancellation fee.

  4. A returned check fee of $30.00 will be assessed for all returned checks.

  5. The minimum installation charge is $750.00

  6. Once you sign the estimate, we require a $600 down payment.  If you cancel after you sign, you will receive a refund minus $150 as a service fee for coming to do the estimate.

CONDITIONS:

  1.  If nobody is available to supervise installation, customer agrees to comply with the following:

          a.  Deviations from existing garden bed lines must be clearly marked with spray paint, flags or other device.  We will NOT

               BE responsible for replacement of curb in areas not clearly indicated.

          b.  Sprinkler heads, lighting and cable wires must be clearly marked.  We will not be responsible for damage to unmarked                   sprinkler heads or lighting cable wire.

          c.  The preservation of existing edging (if required) must be clearly identified on agreement.  We will not be responsible for                 loss of existing edging products if not indicated by homeowner on agreement.

          d.  If installation will be governed by property lines, those lines must be clearly marked with spray paint, flags or other                         device.  We will not be responsible for the replacement of edging that has crossed property lines without clear indication                 of property boundaries.  Resolution of dispute will fall solely on the homeowner.

          e.  All special requests must be clearly indicated on agreement.

  2.  Customer agrees to allow our installation crew to make minor adjustments to diagram indicated on agreement if needed to             accommodate limitations presented by landscaping or other in designated area of installation.

  3.  Customer agrees that newly installed concrete is susceptible to damage during the first 24 hours.  Damage to edging caused         by weather will be repaired at no charge within a reasonable time frame.  All other damage to edging will require a scheduled         repair at an additional charge.

  4.  We warranty curbing materials for a period of 1 year from the date of installation.  This does not include definable damage, cracking or color         variations.  We are not responsible for cracking.  Control joints are installed as a preventative measure.  Grout lines are extra.  Refer to our            care sheet for additional information regarding caring for the curb. 

  5.  There is a certain amount of color variation with colored concrete due to a variety of conditions outside the control of the installer.                           Contractor is not responsible for color variations due to impurities in the concrete mix or gray steel marks left by the finishing tools.

       Please keep in mind that the color of your curb will LIGHTEN up a little AS IT CURES.  It will not remain the same dark color that it is                     when we are done and it is sealed. ​       

  6.  Weather conditions are out of contractors control and may effect scheduled installation date.

  

 7.  Homeowner Association approval for the installation of concrete edging is the customer's responsibility.  Failure on customer's behalf to                obtain homeowner association approval does not negate customer's contractual responsibilities.
